“Raccontami una Fiaba”

Tutto è iniziato quando...

Siamo stati in TIN per giorni, settimane… alcuni per mesi… gli attimi erano scanditi dai bip-bip dei macchinari, dalle voci del personale sanitario, da lacrime sommesse delle famiglie…
C’era una cosa che potevamo fare, LEGGERE.. far sentire la nostra voce ai bambini e mettere in secondo piano quei rumori che non sono naturali, quell’ambiente cosi sterile…Con la VOCE potevamo entrare in un mondo magico, fatto di avventure e di emozioni, potevamo, per brevi istanti, dimenticare cosa stavamo passando… ma soprattutto, potevamo fare del BENE ai nostri bambini… Quando è nata Prematuramente la Lettura è stata tra i primi progetti che abbiamo voluto realizzare: creare una BIBLIOTECA in TIN, una biblioteca a disposizione delle famiglie, una biblioteca per accorciare le distanze che l’incubatrice inesorabilmente crea tra figlio e genitore.. Nasce cosi il progetto RACCONTAMI UNA FIABA.

Abbiamo chiesto aiuto tramite i social, in poche settimane raccolto il primo centinaio di libri e, subito dopo la Pasqua 2019, si è potuto allestire la nostra meravigliosa Biblioteca presso la TIN di Borgo Trento di Verona.
Con la raccolta fondi di Natale 2021, “La Candela Solidale”, sono state allestite due biblioteche anche nell’Ospedale Pederzoli di Peschiera, presso il reparto Maternità-Patologia Neonatale e presso l’Ambulatorio Spazio Mamma (post dimissioni).
Dicembre 2022: in partenza il progetto anche per l’ospedale Mater Salus, Reparto Patologia Neonatale, di Legnago (VR).

Studi hanno dimostrato come leggere ai bambini, ed in particolare al bambino nato prematuro, ha effetti positivi sul suo sviluppo psicologico e rafforza il rapporto genitore-figlio bruscamente interrotto dalla nascita prima del tempo.

EVERYTHING BEGUN WHEN….

We have been in NICU for days, weeks… some people for months… the moments followed the beep-beeps of the machines, nursing staff voices, the silent tears of the families… There was something that we could do, READ, give the babies the possibility to hear our voices and cover those artificial noises, that barren space… Using the VOICE, we could enter a magic world, full of adventures and emotions and we could, just for a short time, forget what we were going through… but, above all, we could make babies feel good…
When Prematuramente was born, the act of reading was one of the first projects we wanted to introduce: we created a LIBRARY in NICU, a library which can be used by families, a library to reduce the distance that the incubator creates between the son/daughter and the parent. This is how the project came to life.

We asked for help using social media, in a few weeks we collected almost 100 books and, just after Easter, we had the possibility to create this wonderful Library.

Research proves that reading a story to children and, in particular, to the premature ones, has positive effects on his/her psychological development and intensifies the relationship parent-son/daughter that is interrupted abruptly because of the premature birth of the child.

The Library has been created in a NICU area that is accessible by the parent; if they particularly love a book, they can bring it at home.
